In our pursuit of educational excellence, we began the foundation and implementation of the pedagogical approach to education known as "Teaching for Understanding," which was developed at Harvard University as part of Project Zero. The primary goal is to train students to achieve high levels of understanding and to develop cognitive skills and high-level thinking processes that will allow them to apply knowledge in a variety of real-life contexts.

TFU is an educational approach that prioritizes comprehension. It is founded on five fundamental pillars for promoting transformative pedagogy in the classroom: generative topics, throughlines, understanding goals, understanding performances, and ongoing assessment.

Our school logo reflects our surroundings and those of us who are part of this wonderful family, therefore it symbolizes unity, a celebration of individuality, and a reminder that we are stronger when we work together.

Each colour represents a different one of our values.
