Welcome to GCRB International School.

The GCRB International School's (COLEGIO BILINGÜE INTERNACIONAL GIMNASIO CAMPESTRE REINO BRITNICO) beginnings can be traced back to its founders, María Cristina Millán Parra and Pedro Luis Espinosa Beltrán.

The idea of creating a private educational campus where their pedagogical ideals could be made real , emerged as a result of Pedro Luis' schooling, first at the Mariano Ospina Rodrguez National Normal School in Guasca, Cundinamarca, and later at the National Pedagogical University in Bogotá.

As the time passed, the founders got spiritual support from their families and an invitation to take a step forward. This is how they began their own journey in an institution located in Bogotá that has already completed 37 years of work and has been the origin of our pedagogical experience.

Thanks to an invitation received in 2009 from the University of Hanban (China) and the Confucius Institute of the University of Los Andes (Colombia), the GCRB began the teaching process of “MANDARIN” as a third language in 2010 with the help of native teachers. Since late 2014 the GCRB (COLEGIO BILINGÜE INTERNACIONAL GIMNASIO CAMPESTRE REINO BRITÁNICO) has been authorized to operate as CONFUCIUS CLASSROOM.

The University of Cambridge authorized the GCRB (COLEGIO BILINGÜE INTERNACIONAL GIMNASIO CAMPESTRE REINO BRITANICO) to offer the CIE Model International Curriculum programs: Cambridge Primary (5-11 years), Cambridge Lower Secondary (11-14 years), and Cambridge Upper Secondary (14-16 years) through the CO080 Certificate issued on January 9, 2018.
